It is important to do the quick scan together with your team as going through the process together is as important as the results.

Send homework to team
1. Homework & Ice breaker – team (30 min)
Everyone describes 2 important clients using pictures and quotes.
Present them to the team and discuss their different (primary) needs.
2. Cluster your different clients – teams (30 min)
Look for common denominators in the needs of your clients and cluster them accordingly. Aim for 3 to 5 different segments, and give them a catchy name that is relevant to their behaviour and your market (e.g. the Strategic Planner)
3. Understanding the different segments – team (30 min per cluster)
Break up in teams and divide your clusters. Use post-its and one Quick Client Scan sheet per cluster to define the different aspects and needs (1-6).
4. Bring your segments to life – team (30 min per cluster)
Bring each segment to life (7-9) by making personas based on their specific needs. Use magazines, glue, tape, pencils and the quotes and pictures of your homework to fill in the rest of the sheet.
5. Digitalise & print – you
One dedicated person digitalises each persona and distributes the results to the rest of the team.
